Meet Kaelis

A thousand certified trainers in your pocket.

Kaelis is the engine behind FITNDEX. It reads every scan, video, photo, route and note you send in, and when you ask, it writes your training from what you have actually done.

  • Grounded in the science behind every major certification in the US and UK
  • Endurance science and the strength underground, in one place
  • No trends. What works, with the variables tuned to you

What it does

First, it collects.

Kaelis runs the body scan. It reads your videos for the physics and for form. It maps the numbers off a photo of a console. It processes a GPS route. It takes a typed set and your scan together and works out the movement you described. That is the data side, and it is the part most apps never get right.

Then it coaches

A thousand trainers, one opinion.

Kaelis draws on the body of knowledge that every certification a personal trainer can hold in the United States and the United Kingdom is built from. On top of that sits the endurance science of the running, rowing and cycling communities, and the strength knowledge that lives in gyms and forums rather than textbooks. All of it in one engine, all of it pointed at your records.

No vibes. No leaning on what is popular this year. Kaelis sticks to what works and moves the variables, load, volume, intensity and rest, to raise your rate of progress.

Why it matters

Everyday coaching runs years behind the research.

The gap between a finding and its arrival in day-to-day practice is commonly put at 17 years in medicine and longer in applied fields like training, with the anecdotes and theories most programs are built on running decades further back.1 So the best practices most of us grew up with are old, and not yet proven to be the most effective.

FITNDEX exists to close that gap. Enough data, collected well, processed the same way for everyone, so what works and what does not can be learned across a population instead of guessed at one athlete at a time. A knowledge base that gets better every generation, in place of the confusion that has been growing while public health has been going the other way.
